How to use 5pm


  • We are not receiving the email notifications from 5pm
    This is most likely related to your SPAM filter. Ask your system administrator to add domain to their "white list".
  • How do I print the data?
    Use the General Report (Reports tab) to filter the data by multiple parameters, then use the "Print view" button on the top to print it.
    You can also print out directly from your main view (CTRL+P) in the new interface (v2).
  • How do I export/backup the data?
    Use the General Report (Reports tab) to filter the data by multiple parameters, then use the "Export to CSV/Excel" button on the top to export it.

    You can also backup all your data in a raw format, including the uploaded files using our On-demand backup — in the "Settings" panel. Please note that your data is being backed up automatically each night, and this is just an extra option for your convenience.
  • How do I duplicate a project/task or create project/task templates?
    You can use any project or task as a template for a new one using Cloning. [ read more ]
  • My data disappeared from the main view
    Check your filters on the top of the left panel: specifically the "view" filter with the eye icon. Click on the arrow by it to check your settings.
  • I get a certificate error message (SSL) Make sure you don't add "www." in the front of your URL.
  • It does not remember my login for 2 weeks
    Make sure your URL address DOES NOT contain the "/login.php" at the end when you open 5pm. Use "" to access your 5pm account. Also do not use the "logout".
  • Google Docs/ Google Apps Docs do not open on Chrome
    Chrome blocks silently any popup windows by default. You have to enable them (at least for your 5pm website) - see screenshot.
  • How do I change my password?
    Login into 5pm, click "People" tab on the left. Locate your profile and edit it — the password is part of it.
  • How do change my credit card info?
    If you are paying with a credit card, you can update it via "my account" link on the top. If you are paying via PayPal —. you can update it directly on your PayPal site. Please note that PayPal usually cancels the subscription once you change the credit card. All you have to do is to re-open the subscription through "My account" menu on the top of your 5pm screen.
  • How do I cancel my 5pm subscription?

    If you are subscribed using a credit card method, you can cancel it directly through 5pm interface ("my account" link on the top). If you are subscribed through PayPal, you can cancel through their site:

    • Login into your PayPal account.
    • Locate one of the payments made to 5pm (comes from Disarea LLC). Open it.
    • On the payment info page, on the top, you will see the link to the subscription plan details
    • On the subscription page details there is a link on the bottom "Cancel Subscription".

    After you cancel, you will still be able to access your 5pm account till the end of the paid period.
